The problem
Lantern had six weeks until launch, one marketer, and no designer other than me. The channel list — landing page, App Store, paid social, email, out-of-home in two cities, and a press kit — was written as if there were a full agency behind it.
The approach
Rather than design six campaigns, I designed one kit: a fixed grid, three layout templates that each survived being cropped square, vertical, and wide, a type lockup that stayed legible at billboard and thumbnail size, and a short motion loop that could be trimmed to any length.
The constraint did the work. Once the templates existed, the marketer could assemble most of the run without me, and I spent the remaining weeks on the pieces that genuinely needed custom attention — the landing page and the out-of-home art.
The outcome
The campaign shipped on time across all six channels with two people. The template kit outlived the launch and became the default starting point for seasonal campaigns the following year.
